The Role

 

• Curate a transporting guest experience

o Follow implemented systems to ensure consistency in product and service

o Build rapport and establish repeat guests from inside and outside the direct community

o Perform guest quality checks and initiate recoveries when necessary

o Ensure cleanliness, organization and beauty of the space are consistently a top priority

• Perform daily Gelateria ZUZU operations

o Greet guests as they approach the window

o Offer samples, information, recommendations

o Execute preventative maintenance & communicate any needed repairs to General Manager

o Open/Transition/Close in accordance with daily checklists; restocking, cleaning, sanitation,

signage updates,

o Scoop ice cream as per guests orders with accurate customizations & additions

o Follow Health, Safety, & Security protocols

o Keep the exterior of the window space guest friendly & clean

o Cash handling & reconciliation; balance cash register, organize and ensure accuracy

o Conduct inventory checks as needed

• Continually develop hospitality skills

o Ongoing development of product knowledge

o Be entrepreneurial in spirit and look for new daily efficiencies in the business

 

 

Who You Are

 

The right person for this role has a strong hospitality background and prioritizes both guest and team

member experience. The ideal candidate is equal parts people and process-driven with an aptitude for

creating efficiencies at all levels of the business.

 

Preference will be given to those who:

• Previpous ice cream / gelato experience

• Proficient in café or QSR style of service and operations

• Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization

• Strategic, entrepreneurial and innovative thinker

• Passionate, positive, and approachable
